I've started this thread for 2 reasons..

a)i'm having fun rapping with Puffhead in another thread

b)i'm trying to write lyrics for a song i'm working on - a cover of Public enemys 'fight the power'


This is what i've got so far, and it's only the first verse (been concentrating on getting the beats right)

Man, i love good rap and hip-hop. I love it more when its kept clean and has a deeper meaning to it. That's why i just love Mike Shinoda's rap! He's GREAT!

OK, so im not much of a rapper but i'd like to share a little rap song that i wrote about a year and a half ago. I love Linkin Park and so i was influenced by their rapping style.
PS: If any of you become world famous musicians and decide to use the following song, then just give me a little credit for it when you get a Grammy. LOL j/k

So how was that?? And by 'play' i meant it as as the 'play' in the phrase "All work and no play...."
