all the teams are doing this in one way or another theres always a number one and a number two driver, regardless what the teams say
THen dont make it so obvious.

Plus massa could still win the championship, its not like this is the final race. If that was so, he wouldn't look so unhappy. He knew he could win this race.

Hope the phaggots at ferrari get penalized.

I think if Massa won, it would have done more good for Ferrari as it would have boosted his confidence tremendously. Massa did better at the start than Alonso and deserved to win. Instead, Ferrari conceded to Alonso's selfishness, and forced Massa to let him through. This is no different than to what Schumacher did to Barrichelo way back when.

This year has been good for F1, aside from intra-team rivalry between Webber and Vettel, and Button and Ham, there has been almost no politics affecting results this year. That's ended to the detriment to Ferrari's credibility.
exactly mate, and its bollocks what the defenders of team orders say about other teams doing exactly the same thing, have they forgotten about Webber and Vettel already? memory like sieves if you ask me and their certainly hasnt been team orders at mclaren.

The FIA have to do something.

Alonso has proven what a whiny bitch he is this year. If that happened to him, he's be full of it.

too right they do, the rule exits to stop the race results from becoming meaningless which the result is and if they get away with it will continue to be.

If nothing happens in respect of what has happened today, then why bother having this rule banning team orders at all? I see Ferrari have been summoned to the FIA...

They have been fined $100,000 apparently for breaching the rules according to the ticker on the BBC website.

That's pittance over what they will get from the points really. I'd like to see them banned from Friday testing in Hungary.

Shame Ferrari weren't in charge of the Love Parade... They'd have allowed people at the back to travel through the tunnel safely...

its the right result i feel. ferrari the team have had to pay for what they have done, not the drivers. it wouldnt be fair to single out alonso despit how muchi dislike him and it wouldnt be fair to penalise both of them for a team decision which already cost massa.

I actually dont blame alonso too much, you could tell he wasn't happy about it either.

Sure he complained, but that was in the heat of the moment, i dont think he expected the team to order massa out. But i could be wrong about that.

yea i dont either its fully at ferraris responsibility.

their excuses are laughable aswell, what difference would it make if alonso was faster at that point, it makes no difference at all, it could have been slipstream for all they know. race day results are not decided by who set the fastest lap time, its by TRACK POSITION.

its really wound up my sundy afternoon which i took off work......

Rubbish. If this is the sole outcome then Ferrari get it EXACTLY their own way. AGAIN.

$100k is a piss poor amount to them. It's not Massa's fault, sure, but the letter of the law needs to be laid down. They need to have an example made of them.

But I don't think any of us are surprised that stewards have copped out. And I don't think any of us will be surprised when we learn of the "punishment" the FIA may hand out. If any at all.
