What happens on the 21st December 2012? Thatīs the Day the Mayan calender ends, the End of the world,.. ![]() Btw H1N1 ? I thought that was pretty much over ? And something else,.. @ Mahoujin, have you even considered the fact that every year (last year ~16,000) people die because of the normal Flu ? (Influenza) I wouldnīt worry about H1N1,.. /hereīs a quick Wiki uote According to the World Health Organization: "Every winter, tens of millions of people get the flu. Most are only ill and out of work for a week, yet the elderly are at a higher risk of death from the illness. We know the worldwide death toll exceeds a few hundred thousand people a year, but even in developed countries the numbers are uncertain, because medical authorities don't usually verify who actually died of influenza and who died of a flu-like illness." Even healthy people can be affected, and serious problems from influenza can happen at any age. People over 50 years old, very young children and people of any age with chronic medical conditions are more likely to get complications from influenza, such as pneumonia, bronchitis, sinus, and ear infections. |

Prove it. They didn't predict the downfall of their own civilization, so what makes you think they could predict the end of the world? Seems to me that they were just an ancient version of Ms. Cleo. If they would have had telephones back then, I'm sure they would have started a 1-900 hotline and had a lot of unhappy customers who paid $9 a minute to get a shitty psychic reading that didn't come true. ![]() |

what did you expect, when i see people every day (even before the swine flu started) sneezing into the air, the fastest and most efficient way to let BILLIONS of your germs into the air and allowed others to breath it in.
This people is how the majority of colds/flu is normally spread, so next time you get a cold, you know it was of some inconsiderate moron that doesnt either use a hanky or STIFLES their effing sneezes! its not hard! |

This people is how the majority of colds/flu is normally spread, so next time you get a cold, you know it was of some inconsiderate moron that doesnt either use a hanky or STIFLES their effing sneezes! its not hard! ![]() What makes it worse, last week he tells me 5 people on his Medicine course have been in contact with people with the swine flu. His responce? "Oh I don't have it" 3 days later, he's been given tamiflu as a precaution but thankfully I'm not feeling any different and it's already been 3-5 days and that's usually the incubation period. Swine Flu isn't any different to any other flu. We just don't have a "cure" for it. And the media and all that just hype it to be some super bug. Plus they're all saying it's a pandemic etc. The use of a word like pandemic makes people think it's SERIOUSLY fatal. |
