The thing is though, it's you that has got into into your head that people only care if Lewis wins, and whilst that is clearly true for us Brits, it certainly wasn't the reason I found France boring and this weekends race great.
It's quite simply becuase the race in France was boring, and this race... wasn't. No hidden agenda, no blind love for Lewis, just my opinion. |

canberraKarter is just bitter about Ferrari and Webber having a bad race, if that was a Ferrari win or Webber didn't be a noob and spin the car and got a good result he would say it was a great race! just enjoy the racing, was the best race of the season in terms of action, something F1 has been missing over the last few years.

God here we go again.
Yeah I'm watching F1 because of all the success Webber has had [rolleyes] Comments like yours about Webber being a noob also don't give credit to your knowledge. I thought it was a great spectacle, but that's all it was, watching drivers trying to drive uncontrollable cars. Great if you don't follow F1 closely or only watch because you like crashes. And FYI I have been watching F1 well before Webber came along, and don't like Ferrari but do like Rubens. And F1 has had great action the last two years so I don't know what the hell you are talking about their. Last year before the last race was the closest it's been for... well ever I'd say, with 3 drivers all able to win the drivers championship. |

These are supposed to be the best drivers in the world so they should be able to cope just fine, and to be fair, most of them did. It helps if your on the right tyre though, and better yet if you actually change the worn ones when you come into the pits. ![]() |

stuff Only during the non downforce era, when someone like Jack Brabham could own, run and drive for the team, could you get packs of drivers fighting for win at drafting tracks like Monza. Even then close races where just as rare as the nowdays, as the fastest car usually qualified first. Sure racing in the wet usually makes a better race, but this weekend Silverstone didn't need it. And if it rains in qualifying, then expect the F1 cars to handle much better in the rain, as they will be set up for it. Unlike last race, where they had to run a dry setup from qualifying and could only dial in some front wing and change tyre pressures. |
