I still need to iron out a few questions from the guy I could end up getting this from.

Basically what it is is a dual exhaust with a cherry bomb on each pipe from a 1978 280z. I would end up putting this on my 1971 240z once I get it back from California and put a new exhaust manifold on it.

Here is what the exhaust looks like.

Goes from the manifold all the way down to the end.
The guy lives in North Carolina. He is about 4hrs away from my house. I would spend a good half day to go get this exhaust.


Do you think that 8hrs of my time, getting to see a really nice 240z, and a free exhaust is worth it?
Gas would cost me around $80 or so I think. An exhaust like that could run in the few hundreds. Plus I cant find any nice exhausts for my 240z, so I would end up having to get a custom made exhaust which could be a little pricey.


What do you guys think? Should I spend my time to go get this exhaust for free, or should I just pass it up?
