Find an "MAT" trainer (muscle activation). You know what my wife does JB. It works. Go to muscleactivation.com and find a trainer near you for all your aches and pains.
ART ( Active Release Technique ) thereapy is excellent as well. On your way up to the Jersey outing, there is a guy in Bel Air, Md who is certified in it, and actually teaches others. He has helped me through tendonitis, and all the back issues I have. if I didn't see him on a regular basis, don't know that I'd be able to play weekly like I do. As far as immediate relief, capzacin works very well, but it can be a bit hot at first. I wear a capzacin patch on my low back during every round, and it never bothers me while I'm playing...
