Maybe being behind Hooters makes it extreme? Maybe they are only going to sell Cobra AMPclubs. and Redbull.

What makes it Xtreme? Never heard of that one before.

There is one in the Woodlands area of Houston, I was in it today....it's a little over twice the size of a normal GS store....10 hitting bays and then a full fledged GolfTec in the back with 3 bays with full simulators in them....putting green area that is roughly the size of most peoples house.

It was pretty impressive.

It was pretty impressive.

That sounds awesome, guess I will have to swing by there next time im in ATL.

Is there a PGAsuperstore in ATL? Looks like GS's answer to their stores.

The location choice next to Hooters is pure genius.

We are pretty lucky in that we have 3 PGA SS but can always use another golf store.

You may not know this, but PGA SS controlling owner is Arthur Blank, of Home Depot fame, so it stands to reason Atlanta would be fully serviced. He is the new Ted Turner, without the Captain Outrageousness.

We also already have two Golfsmiths, with one of them not too very far away from the location of this new Extreme, and both of them are very close to PGA Superstore locations (one even has a connecting parking lot). The Golfsmiths have hitting nets, and a couple launch monitors, but they don't have the readily available simulators like the PGA SS. I guess the Extreme will remedy that.

Just stopped by GS Xtreme. Grand Opening is April 16th. Soft Opening is April 5th.
