All Duas and Zikr, will help you, there are many of them, and you can do all of them, essentially they are all duas and the main thing is that you do it from your heart and concentration, keeping full Yaqeen in Allah, No 50/50 and keeping the AWE of Allah tala in your heart.

Other than that, network with people of your line, and speak and enquire with them if their companies are hiring. Ask if someone can refer you. Also while you are job searching make sure you dont mess up your daily timetable, which means you are awake all night and sleeping till late during the days. You should wake up early morning , and start your job search just like how you would start your job. And take it up as a full time work till late afternoon.

A great way to get your dua accepted is , that it comes in hadeeth that the dwa that is made between the Adhan and Iaqama( before the salah stands up) is accepted. so get to masjid before the Salah starts and make dwa before the standing of jammat.InshAllah your dwa will be accepted.

The time especially after graduation, when you cant find a job immediatly, is a great test of your patience, tawakul in Allah, your attitutude towards life and Iman. So maintain a good schedule, network with people, show your resume to people in your field and make it look good( Dont lie in it) and appropirate. And make dwa before the standing of Salat in masjid.May Allah make it ease for you.

I am also looking for a job and would love to know what to read...I completed a 12-day reading of the following, pardon me for my spelling, but this is according to the book I read from sayings of our Nabi (peace be upon his soul) -- "Ya Badeeol ajaabiel ghayree ya badee" -- It is a prayer for a miracle basically And one is called on to read the following 1200 times a day for 12 days and inshaAllah your hopes and dreams come true...I have done so...but, in my quest for my miracle, I have also learnt that Allah (swt) is our greatest provider, and He wills as we deserve or are to receive...in this realisation I have taken into account that I was not reading all of my mandatory namaaz, my character needed some cleansing and I just needed to be better as a person all round..now, I have decided to apart from bettering myself, keeping up with all of my namaaz, having only good and noble thoughts...keep fasts on Mondays and Thursdays...what I have gained from not working this past year is absolute recognition that Allah (Swt) is the Absolute Greatest Creator...We have to change our ways, our life, our thoughts, our everything, in order for what we desire to truly happen. And I am also learning to not ask, but be patient, and only have positive thoughts because all our stresses and thoughts of distress are being recorded and I honestly don't want my life path to follow this plane of negativity...so be positive and inshaAllah all will be revealed..Kind regards and best wishes..

One thing to remember: Do not read these amals with the intention for the job, read them with the intention for pleasure of Allah swt, the wird/wazaif/amals are means. After you are done reciting then make dua 'O Allah swt from the blessing of this recitation I did give me a good job of my liking in my field with ease and honor.'

I would send you something if I knew your email.

Thanks kindly, you can send the information through to writeaboutGod@gmail.com --- and you are certainly right about the intention bit, I may have faltered in this regard, not all of the days, but some of the days...inshaallah Allah (swt) knows best and understands I am but a human, learning about this life each and every second...thank you once again..

Insha'Allah the above dua will help. The way to utilize this dua is like this:

Keeping the intention of pleasure of Allah swt, after the obligatory Isha salaah sit in isolation* and recite Durood e Ibrahim 11 times. Then recite the dua 101 times just as it is printed on here (including the "bismillah"). Then recite Durood e Ibrahim 11 times and make dua "O Allah swt by the blessing of this recitation grant me a good job of my liking with ease, comfort and honor in the shortest amount of time." Then make durood again 3 times and then complete the rest of your Isha salaah (sunnah nawafil witr etc. meaning that this dua has to be read after the fardh obligatory prayer and before the sunnah prayers of Isha, I am not familiar with how this dua works at Fajr time but I would assume that it is to be read after the sunnah of Fajr and before the obligatory prayers of Fajr) and then go to sleep.

*Isolation means to sit in a place where no one else is around, it could mean that you sit on top of a mountain and read it or that you put a sign on your door "please do not disturb" and sit in a closed room where no one else is and read it, whatever is more convenient to you.

If out of the mercy of Allah swt you are granted a means of sustenance then please remember me in your pious duas. I make dua to Allah swt that He makes this dua a means of success for you in your endeavour and a nur for you and me on the Day of Judgement insha'Allah ameen.

A very strong thought came to me that (1) You should get your resume overlooked by a professional in the field and that (2) you should get tips of how to do well in job interviews.

I would recommend that you get some tips from the user Not Known on this forum he is good in this resume/interview thing.

For those of you who are still in school, if you are planning to start your professional life right after you graduate (meaning you're not planning to go to grad school), you need to have a job lined up before you graduate. This means doing internships in the summers after your 3rd and 4th years, and then applying for full time positions in the year before you graduate. So if you're finishing your BA in Spring 2013, you should have done internships and have a job lined up by Fall 2012, or January 2013 at the latest.

If you wait till after graduating to apply, it will be very difficult to find something.

Salaams, sorry for the late reply...I have been really sad...this job thing is just not happening for me, and so i've just absorbed myself in Allah swt and kept myself isolated ...I read the amal you gave me regularly after namaaz...but no jobs yet, I had one for two weeks and they asked me to leave although I was doing a really great job...Mr FususAlHikam, I do a job that could have gained many to be envious... I hope I'm wrong ... and who could've done something untoward ... for which I hope I am wrong ... and I would appreciate it if I could send you an email directly because you appear to be really on the right path ... for now, all I am doing is having complete Faith in my Allah swt... I call on Him and I call on my Nabi saw and my Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani ... and otherwise, I just sit not understanding what is going on and trying to train myself to have sabr because I am so heartbroken... I just can't be too information-driven here because google my name and voila everyone knows who I am and I am private although my job doesn't afford that privacy level. And I want to say again, thank you kindly for the amal... it means a lot to me and I read and kiss it every time I read it and believe in its effect and have utmost Faith in Allah... *Allah swt is all I truly have at this point*

Just now I have found in Malfuzaat Hakeem ul Ummat jild 15 page 89 Hakeem ul Ummat has said that after Isha if you recite Ya Lateefu 1100 times with durood before and after and then make dua for a good job.

I understand what you are saying that possibly you have nazr on you, for this just do the muawwazatayn amal 3 times Surah Ikhlas, Surah Falaq, Surah Nas and blow on hands and rub over body 3 times everyday after Fajr and Maghrib prayers this is good to remove and protect from evil eye.

If you can wake in tahajjud and offer some salaat and then make dua then this would be tremendous. Dua is a direct plea to the Writer of Destiny.

THE CURE FOR UNEMPLOYMENT - WWW.SHAYKH.ORG

A little while ago 2 visitors came to meet Shaykh. During the discussion Shaykh asked one of them what his profession was. The visitor replied that at present he was unemployed. Shaykh made dua for him and thereafter gave the following advices:

1) Between Subh Sadiq (True Dawn) and Fajr salaah recite the following 100 times:

Subhanallahi wabihamdihi subhanallahil azeem astaghfirullah

It is mentioned in a hadeeth that whosoever recites this daily, will see the world come to him reluctantly and humbled. (Ihyaa)

2) A person should adopt taqwa. It is mentioned in the Qur’an:

Whoever fears Allah, He brings forth a way out for him, and provides him (with what he needs) from where he does not even imagine. (65:2,3)

3) A person should hold fast to istighfaar (seeking forgiveness from Allah).

In a Hadeeth the Prophet sallalahu alayhi wasallam says,

‘The one who holds fast to istighfaar, Allah will open a path from poverty and difficulties. All sorrow and hardship will be removed, (and in its place prosperity and contentment granted). Allah ta’ala will grant him sustenance from unexpected (and unimagined) sources.’ Sunan Abu Dawood

Do you do them all in one sitting, or constantly throughout the day?
