there is a great book called [email for book] about soul mates which was written by an accomplished and renowned psychiatrist and regression therapist named [email for name]. it is a true story about 2 of his clients he was seeing in the same frame of time however they had no knowledge of each other's existence. he began to put the pieces together as they both were recalling what seemed to be the same dramatic past lives from different points of view. cheers!

i feel it to be true... for i feel i have crossed paths with my twin flame on june 26th, 1999, which in essence, was the day i woke up from the illusion of reality. a date i'll never forget.

one 66...= 12 (the unification of all things) & (66 stands for me and her, the initials of our first names mm, look on the telephone digit #s and see were mm falls within. besides the fact it was the 6th month of the year 26th day 2x6= 12 and 99, flip it around and you get 66)

i read another book by a channel who lives in the mt.shasta area - it was remarkable to encounter this couple in person during a book reading. there were many fascinating tangents they shared, i.e. issues about fasting, and the skill of rendering oneself transparent...unusual things that people don't talk about very often...

an actual reunion of the twin souls is the inspiration behind all true poetry. if there is a lot of karmic baggage they are likely not to stay together and usually the boy in this situation will become the poet. [email for name and book] is important in understanding this predicament. the play
"twelveth night" attributed to shakespeare maps out the compartments of the poets mind in a comic way. it's pretty obvious in the case of edgar alan poe:
"neither angels in heaven above nor demons down under the sea can ever dissever my soul from the soul of the beautiful anna bell lea."

bill says:

hmm.

...don't think so.

as a male i don't think i would be much interested in the distortion of myself in female form. sounds boring. if i were female i wouldn't be much excited or interested in the male me either. i think "we" would appreciate encountering some fresh, new perspectives to help expand "our" horizons rather than being stuck in the same old same old.

a thought that comes to me would be that a so-called soulmate might be a simultaneous incarnation off doing its own thing for the nonce. coming together might actually be counter-productive.

just kidding, 'billie'. if you have managed to keep your figure, give me a ring. we can work something out...maybe.

billybob...

coming together is what it's all about. and for me to recognize my self in my twin souls' eyes was all it took for me to realize, her and i... and all, are one!

perhaps people will believe and disbelieve what ever feels correct for them to believe and disbelieve. a competent forensic scientist will not believe or disbelieve the testimony of an eye witness. perhaps it is unethical to tell other people what to believe and disbelieve. perhaps there is a difference between fact and truth.

i've wondered a time or two if i had a soul mate. if we choose our parents so we get certain genetics as well as attain life experiences, does that mean my soul mate would resemble me physically as well as psychologically?

i suppose, in a way, if they say we are attracted to people who resemble our parent of the opposite sex, that could be true as well.

however, like bbbb (:d ), i'm afraid my soul mate would probably be boring to be with on a day-to-day basis. although he may enjoy the same things i do, i doubt that would make for much conversation. i like to read, take walks alone, play around on my computer - stuff that doesn't necessarily require a partner.

on the other hand, if i read what ra says correctly, the physical aspects could be quite enjoyable!

of course there are soul mates. look around and you'll see them. we are all of the same "flame". people who you might consider your soul mate are the ones who are at the same place in the understanding of reality. people who have lived and learned the same as you and who live and think as you do. you may have had a past relationship with this person and once again find yourself in the next stage with the same soul. or it could just be a soul on the same level as you and how comfortable is that? but it all comes down to us all being from the same soul (energy/love) anyway. we are all soul mates

...we are all soul mates... there's a qabalistic view that complements this - the idea that whoever one seems interacting with is a soul mate of some sort or another. this definition probably works for the vast majority who are spiritually asleep.

at some point, one may experience "the soul fire" which can be so profound that there's pause given to integrate it - and if someone is "lucky enough" they may meet another who fires this "soul fire" in a way that's distinct from some everyday occurance. i'd say a person's lucky if this happens once in a lifetime - that most people live dormant to it as asleep in their development. life can seem hectic dealing with such occurances and i can appreciate how many "soul mates" or "twin flames" choose to live separated (sadly), they can't handle it.

nowadays, people probably dose themselves numb with antidepressants in more cases than not - as alternative to exploring such realms.

the first time i encountered the term, "twin flame" was from reading something put out by what looks to be a cult of some sort. that is, people rally around some charismatic leader. somehow i can't imagine anyone who has experienced the reunion of the twin soul as joining up with one of these outfits that play follow the leader. l

isn't any intimation of separation a journey away from soul, which is wholeness beyond compare?!

and as "all apparent pairs of opposites are effects of the same cause" (the kybalion), can we in wholeness properly identify those people who in our lives have brought about the most and worst (perceived) suffering and ill as our "soul-mates" as well?

perhaps a soul-mate might be best thought of as any other distortion in the undisturbed field with which you perceive (in 3d) a strong and long-term learn/teach relationship, regardless of apparent polarity.

love, blessings, and abundance,

frank-o

in a time of spiritual awakening the topic of twinsouls is bound to come up with various interpretations ,to protect oneself against psychic illusion it may be best to listen to ones inner voice.through the practice of meditation listening to the universal force within may be the best guide ,one has only to listen and follow.one of the key preparations for twinship is knowledge of responsibility not only for the upliftment of self but of others, many twinsoul relationships are based on works of service for the greater good rather than romantic personal fulfilment. i read that gladys turner was the twinsoul to edgar cayce but not much is on record in regards to their relationship but we do know that after their union the readings were better organised she seemed to have had a stabalising effect on cayce. if any one can shed more light on this matter feel free to do so.

always with love lucia.

this question has been with me ever since i was 9 years old when i had a dream in which i saw someone that filled me with longing. i was only 9, and the love i felt in this dream was the purest form. it went beyond the love that most people think of.

i have been searching ever since for the answer to these feelings.

i didn't know what a soul mate, twin soul or twin s-elf was then.

eventually, as i grew older and my soul-searching became more acute, these questions resurfaced as i discovered that perhaps this dream meant something.

to this day, i really don't know what that dream was.

i think, perhaps, it may have been symbolic.

a longing for oneness with the higher densities?

maybe god is our only twin flame, whatever we may perceive "god" to be.....infinite love.....the infinite creator.......

if the creator is expressed in so many infinite ways, through us, through creation.......

then maybe we may fall "in love" with the "light" of the creator when we see it reflected in others.

maybe this is why its so easy for people to feel they are "in love" with a great musician, etc......
because they are being moved by the recognition of that light, that deep down, reminds them of "home"......of oneness......

in this world it is more difficult to feel a sense of kinship, of oneness, as everything is made to seem so separate......so people tend to look for it only within their particular "group" or family, etc.

perhaps most people would feel different about their sense of kinship...if they could see that all beings are a part of the infinite creator- and that our bodies are just vehicles for the consciousness to experience in- our "trip" through space and time. the "doors of perception".

what would the world look like if we could see through the eyes of an ant, a butterfly, a fly on the wall......or feel the awareness of a tree?

i'm rambling again! :d

all in all....my point is....

maybe "god" is our true twin flame?

i have been interested in soul mates for a long time. sometimes i feel like i have connected with them, in dreams, astral travel. i wonder, when i meet my true love soulmate, how it will feel, i know i will know when i meet him. i feel that the reason why we have not met (in person) yet is because i needed to wake up and find myself! i guess you could call this year my awakening year, for sure, and it's when i set out to (mentally, spiritually) discover my life purpose and in doing so, discovered i was an indigo (i know it's a label, and iv'e never liked using them, but it does fit very well with who i am and who i always have been). anyway, i believe my soul mate has the same (or mostly the same) traits/qualities, and i would like to meet him soon!

well maybe someone can ease my pain or confusion. i am almost positive having a soul mate in this world is real. i am confident i have found my soul mate but the problem is that she is a celebrity. how do i know this? i have had real intensifying and lucid dreams with this girl she is about my age and in one dream i have my arms wrapped around her waist and we are floating in the air and staring into eachothers eyes as if it's deep true love looking into eachothers souls. i swear i feel a true connection with this girl.

i have never met her. if i did i wish i could go up to her and tell her these things or express how i feel about her but unless i'm a celebrity myself i just don't see it happening. she isn't well known. by the way, i am single and have been looking for mrs. right for most of my young adult life and haven't found her yet.

as a person it hurts not to have that significant other with you to love and hold.
