Just going to start this off because I didn't know this, and was thinking, what other little tips and tricks you should know when your in a bind.

1 - I didn't know this but I saw it work. You've got power to your car but the starter won't turn the motor. Take a hammer and hit the starter a few time. It will loosen the brushes and should get it to turn so you can start your car.

2 - Having trouble in loose sand or dirt, air down your tires to 5 psi, it will make the tire spread over a wider area giving you more traction.

3 - Warm beer, got ice? Spin the beer on the ice for about 60 seconds and it will chill the beer quickly.

4 - Got a bad cut, no where near a hospital but you've got crazy glue? Put a little on an it will seal the cut.

That's what I have for now, but I'd love for this to be living thread with additions from other members. I bet we can get a great list of ideas. The only thing I would ask is if you could cut and paste my 4 then start with 5 etc etc.
