I have shirts as well that say "Bullsh*t Legislation" and it's got an up-to-date list of all the places where BSL is enacted on the back. Talk about a conversation starter! I've also got a shirt that says "Ban stupid owners, not dogs".

However, it goes beyond that. I attend city council meetings in an effort to be heard. I've sent out a book of letters about BSL and what happened to my dog to many council members and state senators. I've sent letters regularly, even if the topic isn't currently being discussed in the current proposed legislation.

The time to fight is BEFORE the fight gets to your hometown. Make yourself be heard. Attempt to educate those BEFORE the lies and myths of "why BSL is good for us" rain down on your city.
