Waaleykum'assalaam!

Bro, if you think young children cannot fall prey to drug abuse or addiction, then you need to wake up.

In my city in India, I have seen street children as young as 7-8 sniffing eraser fluid and other substances. I see these poor children everyday. You'll always find them high off of something or the other. They don't sound normal. These street children are being victimised at the hand of scrap dealers who push them into drug addiction.

Then there are 'over the counter' (OTC) drugs which aren't only easy and legal to get from the stores but are normally found in our home. I won't name those drugs here. But you see, even school children from well off families are also victim of this epidemic.

So, it is no wonder if children mentioned in the above news were genuine addicts. After all, there is hardly any socio-cultural difference between India and those across the border.

Assalaam'aaleykum!
which city is that?

can you upload some footage of these kids from your phone please. i need to see this with my own eyes.
