A graph tracking the number of mentions various ethnic groups got through the years in google's corpus of books. By far, Swedes and Jews got the most mentions. Any thoughts as to why?

(couldn't use English, French, or Dutch, unfortunately, because the mentions would've been both of the ethnic groups and the languages).
