I wasn't defending atheists as such.
I wasn't even saying that I am against the idea of God.

I just find that the line of thought:
"You don't know for sure about God, therefore you must not choose either way and stay right in the middle"
is a bit hypocritical, as every single decision made, every opinion held is based on very imperfect evidence.

If you REALLY are on the fence with regards to the "evidence", fine.
But to say that not choosing is the only logical option is wrong, IMO. We agree, I was responding to Tass.
