Until then here is a tip to tide you over:

Granade pins are not easy to remove like in the movies they are fully curled cotter pins pulling one hurts like hell on the finger. (this is a good thing because it keeps you from accidently blowing you and loved ones up.) If you ever decide to straighten the pin out some TAPE THE SPOON DOWN!!!

When the "spoon" is released the grenade will jump a bit in your hand so don't throw from a flat palm or it will probably land at your feet which is not fun.

Throwing is not like the movies either. For practice grab a full sized red brick and throw it. That is reality not like a baseball in the movies

For a long distance reach hand granade take the pin off and veryyyyyyyy carefull put it inside of a bottle and then throw the bottle, when the bottle breaks the spun will come out.......if you cannot find a bottle with a wide mouth then grab a wine bottle, tie a string at the middle, drip some gas on the string and light it up......after the fire dies then FAST LIKE put some water on it and it will break evenly where the string was at.......... I have hundred of military tips but I don't want to make this tread about the military.
