I don't know if you guys have heard about this movie or not. It stars Clive Owen, Michael Caine, and Julianne Moore. Its pretty much about a world in the not too distant future (2027) where no baby has been born for 18 years and Great Britain is the last civilization still functioning on the planet.
I saw this movie last night in New York City and I just have to say WOW. This is honestly one of the best movies I've ever seen and, in my opinion, up there with Saving Private Ryan. If you guys get a chance, definitely see this movie. |

Seriously, this movie was just utterly transfixing. Some of the best cinematography I've seen, period. Very interesting story, and gives you so much to think about, but the way it is presented: Damn. The car sequence and the war sequence will have them talking for years. Just beautifully shot, directed and edited. Massive props to Alfonso Cuaron; I was in awe that the director of "Y Tu Mama Tambien" and the third Harry Potter also had the chops to direct an intense, beautiful and traumatic movie like this.
