Great race, just a shame that Vettel had the wrong tactic

Yup, massive drive from Webber - now, who was it bagging him...
kyros, they have to start on the tyres they qualified on, otherwise I expect most would be on softs for the advantage at the start of the race.
Surprised how well the softs held up, compared to some of the other tracks, even allowing for it being gentler on tyres.
Button'll still be red from his mistake, I expect, it definitely cost him a podium.

Anyone else notice how empty the grandstands were?

Really great to see the guys still good friends on the podium, not like some drivers in the past [thumbup]

I thought if you're outside the top ten, you can put on what you want?

Yeah, you can.
Yeah so I suppose starting on hard when your stuck in traffic at the start kind of makes sense. Pointless wasting the quicker soft ones. They maybe wrote off his first stint if they knew KERS might not work.

What an awesome race...

Maybe it's because I haven't watched an F1 race in a long time but I thought this race has been properly exciting. Strategy really mattering with all the tire issues, and all the overtaking as a result.

edit: Jake Humphrey seems a bit of a dumbass though. Coulthard and Brundle are pretty gewd.

Best race ive seen in a long long time, good to see all the rules coming good and you have to give credit to the FIA for this, its been a long time coming and despite criticism over the years over their efforts not working they finally can tell the critics to shove off.

Yes, also credit has been given to Pirelli for the highly degradable tires.[yes]

Definitely enjoying the fact that DRS and KERS are tools that can be used and may break during the race!

The fact that they are so new and not well understood means makes for fun watching!

Awesome race. Brilliant performance from Ham. Button was a bit unlucky with the tires.
