You used to play in the sewers with all the **** and god knows what else?
Yes I did. I wasn't brought up to be clean and hygienic, I was muddy and liked to explore everything (normally ended up coming home dirty). The sewers I explored where at least 4ft in diameter and rather clean.

I've also played in storm water drains, but only on a very hot sunny day where there was hardly any water in them.

So you could've potentially been one of those idiots we read about in the papers who end up drowning when storm water drains rapidly flood (as they do)?

I think I thought you where Shia, sorry

But my point still stands, you would never have played in a sewer pipe in Australia, they would all have been storm water drains, pipes and all. For one thing, think about where that water was going.

Did you think all sewers are sparkling clean with water so clean you could drink it? What do you think happens to stuff when you flush the toilet? It goes into the sewer that's what. Sewers are typically nasty, smelly, dirty places and the last place you'd want any child to play.
