(Fake here)

Isn't this a re-post and wasn't it confirmed to be the insides of someones bowel or intestines or something? It's obviously not the insides of a tunnel or sewer because I don't think anyone could hold a camera that still without it bobbing around a little.

It obviously IS a sewer. Did you even watch the video? Because anyone with eyes could tell it was a sewer and not someone's insides.

Well I was thinking that the camera was on rail or arm which is why it looks like robot movement. I also doubt its the inside of someone, the water looks to run real fast

edit: the cam is on a rail, u can see it on the roof

I didn't watch it this time through, just the first few seconds. But I watched it before when someone else posted it.

I'm sorry, but I do have eyes and it doesn't look like a sewer to me. I use to play in sewer pipes when I was a kid and they look nothing like that (and trust me I've been in quite a few)

Tell me, did you us to play in sewer pipes or have ever been in them?

WTF seriously I mean WTF

It looks like a bunch on worms working together in a sewer or someones bowls and then at the same time it looks like the blob...I'm going to go with bowls because I player in pipes when I was younger...all though there is one pic where it looks like sewer pipes it reminds me more of those adds on TV where they are looking at someones insides[yes]

I have your answer its the blob http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_AASYGG7mrw

and just for the record ewwwwwwwwwwwwww

It is most definitely a sewer. That rigid, perfectly round pipe is a dead giveaway. [rolleyes]

It's gross, whatever it is.

Then American sewers have some serious problems. Sewers where I live are quite clean and you can see the grey cement walls. Perhaps they use some sort of cleansing material and flush it every so often, but I've never seen a sewer like that before. Not in any I've been in and not in any movie I've seen or TV show/documentary.

Also the thing was huge if it really was a sewer and find it quite hard to believe unless it was shown on the news or TV or wikipedia or something. Nobody knows what it is and at that size aren't looking into what it is?

It's a sewer pipe, not a full sewer. A human couldn't fit in there. That's why the camera was put down there on a rail or track. It's probably no bigger than a foot in diameter.

You used to play in the sewers with all the **** and god knows what else?

Edit: And I've seen sewers plenty of times on TV. It's an obviously concrete tunnel with water and gunk running through it. What else would it be?

As the camera view is about the middle, it could be as small as 6" in diameter - we often use similar CCTV cameras to check pipes before and after working on them.
They're like long skinny remote controlled vehicles with one or more steerable cameras on them.

Have a look here for an overview, if you're interested.

Actually, the sewer monster is made up of thousands of tiny organisms called bryozoans, or moss animacules
