I'm not questioning his personal achievements in physics/mathematics nor Mathematica (it's a commercially sound product, although it isn't that amazing), but MathWorld and ScienceWorld can only be described as being weak at best - it's the web-based products that WR seem to have biggest problems with.
Fair enough, I understand and pretty much agree.

Note that I was not using his Ph. D. dissertation as a general personal achievement of his. I was being specific; his Ph. D. dissertation is supposed to be one of the greatest ever written.

Well he does stress that its all a long term project. People here are right that it could all fail and go right into the dust-bin, but for myself I'm going to give a project that has come so far and shows so much potential (at least in theory) quite a bit longer than a day or two before I am willing to reach any conclusions.

I bet the guy is probably biting his nails right now!

This is not a solo project for Stephen Wolfram, this is from a successful research company that he started called, "Wolfram Research" (which brought you Mathematica).

I doubt that Mister genius has his life savings vested in this project enough to worry, if it fails, one of his other outlier ideas could still catch fire.

But who likes to fail? [yes]

Every question I asked I was greeted with the epic fail message.

You only got ONE shot at Google, when you don't hit people will tell you to GTFO and never try your search engine again.

Possibly. Almost certainly true for many, but some will be more patient. Especially as this project is not really aiming at the same space as Google at all. I suspect a lot of people are thinking "Google competitor" and maybe missing what this is really intended to do. We will see: I tend to think long term on things like this.

Try what you ate this morning my friend. For example, this is what I ate this morning: "1 egg + 1 bagel + 6 beer + 2 prostitute vaginas". Try putting that in the search, it works (maybe not all of it, but some will. It probably needs to know what kind of bagel I had).

PS: I have been kicking Sparafucil's ass in TF2, but I have not seen you. WTF?
