The exchange rates about 1.22 euros to the pound but if i got them out the bank over there would the exchange rate be different?

i know you'd get bank charges to, i'm just wondering because i've forgotten to get any!

Have you got a Nationwide bank account? They are [swear filter] outstanding when it comes to withdrawing cash from foreign ATMs. You get practically the exchange rate and no commission. It's the best way to do it. I've even used places like Currencies Direct to move large funds to the US and even their rates are **** compared to Nationwide's.
