i want to get a portable gps device for onroad and offroad navigation. accuracy and road/land detail are of most importance to me. also like it to be usable in a vehicle or on foot. i've been looking around it seems that no one unit does everything well. should i be looking at an all in one or should i go the pda with nav software root. the latter is obviously more customizable but most likely more expensive and complicated. can anyone point me in the right direction please?
