One of our tech support reps, who gets more complaints from customers than any one else and always has (and I have heard him talk to customers, he's terrible and rude), doesn't really know our product as well as he should considering how long he has been there, spends more time arguing with customers and other employees than doing his job and helping customers... Well, he has been, as of today, promoted.
Way to go management! Nice way to set an example. For the last 10 months, I have been waiting for him to be fired. I bitched to his spineless manager, but fat load of good that's going to do since he refuses to hold any opinion whatsoever or talk to his employees when they are screwing up. Grr! |
