Anyone watched this tonight, about the cult of.. er church of Scientology, don't know about you but I think I would have lost it with that sweaty little slime bucket in the black suit a long time before the reporter did, congrats for keeping his cool as long as he did.

Yep, shame it was only 1/2 hour. I still have the utmost respect for Sweeney and frankly any 'organisation' (read: cult) that employs theories that turn the holocaust into an absolute farce deserve to be shouted at and treated with no respect whatsoever. They are an utterly despicable group and anyone who defends or associates themselves with what could easily be described as an organised crime outfit is ignorant and downright stupid.

Scum, every last one of them.

I remember how Tom Cruise flew to Germany where the "cult" is banned, in order to try and reverse the ban.

Cue one very pissed off Tom being shown the door back to California.

Didn't Paris also ban him from the city for life?

edit - Yes, they did!
In 2005 the Paris city council revealed that Cruise had lobbied officials Nicolas Sarkozy and Jean-Claude Gaudin, described him as a spokesman and militant for Scientology, and barred any further dealings with him.[41][42]

We can only hope

I'm all for freedom of speech, but surely there are laws against a "proven" fraudulent organisation like this exploiting it's members and potential members.

It is banned as a charity in the Uk due to the fact you are required to pay money, it's not optional.

Well I just watched it, and nothing of it surprised me, nor their tactics.

One of their aims is to obliterate psychiatry, want to know why? because psychiatrists are the ones that can "treat" those persons affected by brainwashing, which it appears is one of their tactics.

They call themselves a religion, but have no central focus.
They claim good works, what I saw, was predation tactics, preying on the vulnerable in times of dire need.
They demand payment for membership, no true religion demands payment for membership.,
They hound critics, stalk them, harass them, thats not a religion, thats people with something to hide.
They dismiss the holocaust, as brainwashing the masses by one sided views, and in their supposed history, it was psychiatrists who were nazi's

http://scientology-facts.blogspot.com/

read that, its not one persons opinion, its facts from court actions and iincidents, although, it does not mention any of the most serious crimes that were committed, its really frightening, that a CULT like this can rise in full view of society and still spread in this day and age.

Anyone who believes the rants of a decrepid schizophrenic as a fact and idolises them, need to see a psychiatrist, .....but oh no...they want psychiatrists obliterated[surrender]

I was watching another docunmentary where it seems that many psychiatrists basically called Dianectics a joke, which pissed Hubbard off and so he started a campaign against psychiatry.

Well, I thought I wouldn't post about this but kudos to the OP for actually starting this thread. The part about the payment and the harrassing was the scary bit...even more scary is that the rich folks seem to be joining in.

The guy in the black suit was a nut case; smart tactic would have been to watch the whole thing and stay quiet till the end and then explain everything in calm and collected manner instead of verbally assaulting the interviewer just for the questions they ask. The one guy gave the whole organization a bad rep., in my opinion, simply because of the way he acted & he also proved that there was no freedom in whether or not you believe anything and even worse you have no right to question anything.

LMAO[rofl]

They've started a smear campaign against John Sweeney and the BBC

http://www.bbcpanorama-exposed.org./...ocumentary.php

You'll laugh when you click the contact link....

Contact us

If you disagree with unethical journalism, tabloid "tricks" and the "dumbing down" of the BBC, then contact us confidentially by sending an e-mail to editor AT freedommag.org

To get more information about Scientology, visit our web sites:

* Church of Scientology in London
* Freedom Magazine
* Church of Scientology International so freedommag.org is a scientology site.

Also, just did some checking out of the contributors to that video, one fo them " Dr David E. Root Former flight surgeon RAF " is american!!! and I check him out, not one accreditation to any service in the RAF, which is a requirement of law.
Moreover, he is a specialist in narcotics, the RAF would not employ a narcotic specialist as a flight surgeon, a flight surgeon is that, a surgeon, so that is fake.

edit, just found he is the director of Narconon, scientology's drug rehabilitation center

Dr. David E. Root, Narconon Medical Director
http://www.holysmoke.org/narconon/na...of-support.htm

Hmm,, sounds like they are liars when it comes to putting the record straight.

It could be that many of the methods of Scientology designed by Hubbard rely on a lot of Freud's failed and rejected ideas and therefore are something likely to be exposed and derided by real psychiatrists.

Scientology is nothing more than an exclusive club for the rich and famous which is funded by the lower ranks of the organisation. Its a joke of a religion which should be banned throughout the land and the world at large.

My crusade starts here.

/Wanders off to kitchen to get some cocktail sausages.....

Did the makers of south park get attacked when they did their Scientology episode?

I'm amazed how many people are fooled.
