I'm a little lost...do I just email them? Walk into the shop or what? I actually want to keep the number and switch over to Pay As You Go but if I can't then I'll terminate the contract (12 months finished ages ago so I'm just paying monthly). If it's of any use, I got it from the O2 site so it's an online contract.

Haha
Well, as much as i've rang them, i've actually only ever cancelled once, and not before getting another O2 online contract....so the sim i had that was being cancelled was hardly in use! So i'm not sure of how long it'll take to cancel. From what i gather it'll be a month after you pay your last bill. O2 make you pay a month in advance so providing you don't go over your limit, you can still call. If you're wanting to swap your number then they'll simply just swap your number. The contract wouldn't be any use, regardless, as your number would be used on your pay as you go sim. ![]() |

They will take a month from when you call them regardless of the fact that your contract is up. They keep it 'rolling' so the exit clause of 1 month notice still exists. Though the upside of it is if you want to upgrade then you still can. Well if it rolls for another month, that's fine. |
