Hey acarney... what's this heroes you speak of? Never even heard of it... Could you fill me in on the plot n stuff? Is it worth watching from the beginning?
I apologize in advance if he actually reads this and posts some 5 mile long rant on how godly the show is or something.

Minus the godly ranting, just go to NBC.com and you can watch all of their shows there. Click on Heroes, and then click on Episode 1. There's one short commercial where on TV you'd see a regular commercial break, and it's not horrible resolution. I think it's awesome, and it's definitely the most hassle-free way to watch them all.

Watch an episode or two and see for yourself. [thumbup]

EDIT: Link for the lazy.

EDIT2: Oh ****, I think they disabled episodes 2-15? The hell? LAME.

That was a good episode. [yes] Also thanks for the link to the NBC site with the episodes Ruz. My DVR stopped recording with two minutes left in the episode and I was about to flip out.

No offense Acarney, but do you actually have a life outside of all those damn soaps & series you watch ?
The picture i have of you is something like this,
a rather fat dude covered with zits, laying on a couch in a darkend room with a bag of chips crying over something that just happend on Veronica Mars.
[yawn]
i agree.. hes on my permanant ignore list, and I just have to laugh when I see his idiot/sensationalist topics come up on GD.. God help us if he ever goes to another part of the forums. [thumbdown]

Yet you still take the time to come in and crap in his threads? Come on now... You just lowered yourself below what you try to make him out to be.

You don't like his enthusiasm towards shows? That's fine, just stay out of his threads.

Hope you all enjoy the new truncated (yet relevant) title.
HA! So it was you! Great title!

I’m not fat, I’m not covered with zits, I’m not laying on a couch, sometimes I am in a dark room, it enhances the viewing experience, most the time I’m not eating chips or anything, and I’m not crying over what happened on Veronica Mars, I can’t, I’m smiling too much from what happened.

Seriously though, I work at Starbucks and I’ll be taking classes in the fall again toward my Biology degree. I haven’t been into TV in awhile; I’m not sure what happened these last two years besides every damn show being practically gold.

Acarney goes beyond "enthusiasm" and into "cult-like worshipping" :P That being said I did still vote for veronica mars in that one "save my show!!!!!" thread. What ever happened with that anyway?

And the whole not having 2-15 kinda sucks. I'll add it to my DVR's auto record tonight tho. Any clue when the first season comes out on DVD? I googled and all I can find is "will there be extra stuff on the dvd?". Every single page was the same "what's going to be on the dvd" questions.

So he really likes his shows, to a ridiculous amount for some but if anything I wish I could have that kind of ardency towards something like a show. I can somewhat relate to him after I finish an episode of one of my favorite shows I want to talk to others about the latest installment. [yes]

They are still in the first season right now and shows usually come out on DVD around when the second season starts. As far as dates, I wish I could help you out. I believe there are four episodes left this season.

BEST episode yet! (white text below!)

Couldn't believe it when Nathan turned out to be Sylar...
Such a cool experience seeing what was going on in the future, Peter just totally kicked ass, reminded me of Neo! [thumbup] ("It's been ages since I had a good fight." )
Anyway... roll on episode 21. BEST TV show EVER!

WOOT ^^

I was probably the best episode of heroes yet! Anyone that has not seen heroes had better watch it from the start as it's all good.

At the same time I think Acarney needs to get out a little more.

I'm glad I'm not that ardent sure there have been and are shows I love/d and yes I look forward to them every week and sometimes really want to see the next episode I feel relaxed and happy watching them but I would hate to be a total obsessive who goes mental each time the show is on and feels the need to run and share with complete strangers how he just creamed his pants.

Geez mate... talk about having tickets on yourself.

But seriously, yeah ep20 was pretty awesome. It amazes me how they are able to write, and take us along so many different tangents, yet still keep everything linked so perfectly!

I sure was the best episode..
Lets hope they stop the show after like 3 seasons though, because I don't want it to have the same problems as 24, which is more of the same every new season. Still love 24, but what the hell is wrong with the writers in season 6. At least shows like heroes which is still in first season can feel original.

The whole time thing didn't make any sense though, but it's fun nontheless.

The only shows I watch are Heroes, South Park and My Name Is Earl. All are ending in about 3-4 weeks. (except South Park, that finished 2 weeks ago)

That's alright with me though, summertime is no time to be stuck in watching the box.
