I'd better order a few before they go up in price! [surrender] Maybe $6.99, but not $60.99!

Zvmwissq 03-29-2007 08:23 AM

You think that's bad, I needed an IDE cable recently and went to my local CompUSA, a standard, flat IDE cable like you can buy online for less than $2 was $32.99. I was shocked. How can they actually sell them?

Edit: Oh and Antec rounded cables were "only" $19.99.

oliverlogo 03-29-2007 08:49 AM

Hahaha man... I should get one of those to go with the $100 jeans I just bought that came with bleach stains and tears. [rofl]

VawSwaspamups 03-29-2007 10:21 AM

That's most likely the price for a box of 10 of them.

Right. http://discussworldissues.com/forums...es/tongue1.gif

On a side note, I ordered a Logi G11. wewt!

VawSwaspamups 03-29-2007 11:32 AM

I am being serious, on another site it's about the same price for the same keyboard but it's a pack of 10.

Lapsiks 03-29-2007 12:59 PM

That keyboard looks like it was made in the early 90s... [thumbdown]

That would make a whole lot more sense. http://discussworldissues.com/forums...ies/laugh1.gif

That looks like the old-fashioned sprung "clickity-clack" type keyboard. I remember when my alma mater bought a bunch of great (at the time) PCs for student labs, they outfitted them all with these crappy keyboards specifically because they don't jam, they're tough to break, they stand up well to crumbs and crap and they last forever. It may be a pricing error but it's ugly for a reason.

Newegg has a good deal. You can get the same model here for $135

http://www.ezsystems.com/dcat.cgi?g=EUROTECHFCC&page=1

EDIT: Actually, that site says it has 105 keys; newegg only has 104, so that's probably why,

Those keyboards could even take a nuke and survive [thumbup]

pipojambo 03-29-2007 05:13 PM

French Canadian key layout filler

fotochicaes 03-29-2007 07:41 PM

It's Eurotech man, all of their keyboards are hand carved out of ivory by Ganesha.

biannaruh 03-29-2007 07:53 PM

Bit early for april fools isn't it??[rofl]

BamSaitinypap 03-29-2007 08:44 PM

I use an almost identical KeyTronic keyboard at work and it's excellent. We pay about $8 each though, so I'll vote for the 10 pack theory.

That is why they are closing down their stores. CompUSA will be gone in 30 days

Not all of them, only in certain areas.
