Does anyone use the double clutching technique (Double declutching for britts)? I'm currently in the process of learning this procedure but i'm not very good at it...any tips or tricks on how to pull off this tricky manuever faster?
if you do double clutch how do ur ecommend learning? any good how-to's out there? |

in a modern car with a hydraulic clutch, its 99.9% pointless. ****, with syncro'd gears, you dont even need the clutch if you can RPM match (i dont REALLY recommend this though) and i have yet to see one GOOD reason to double clutch, unless you have maybe 190,000 miles on it, it might be slightly better / easier on it.

In the finnish army there still exists one vehicle type which requires double clutching or else it will not go into gear. Funneh. ![]() Can't really see reasons to do it with modern cars, maybe with some older cars. |
