If you really think it is that time consuming to obtain an entire season of a show on the internet these days then you are more clueless than you look. Watching 6 episodes of Top Gear over the course of a week is not a serious time commitment.

I don't judge anything sight unseen. I had never seen Top Gear before. I gave it the benefit of the doubt. It sucked. Would you prefer I offer judgements on something I had never seen?

It's an awful show, and you haven't even attempted to defend it just goes to show that you recognize the cheesy, idiotic fluff that it is.

I don't judge everyone on TV on their intellectual merit, instead I enjoy wacthing the TV because the presenters are entertaining and make amusing TV... Admittedly they don't raise any significant debates on 18th century literature or similar but they are quite entertaining to watch...

Guys, I found out why Sparaficl is against the show. He's French.

...for those that don't get why that is so relevant, let's just say that the English and French don't quite get along with each other and the fact that the hosts make it plainly clear for their disdain of the French, pretty much says it all why he's so against it. It's a very pro-british show with very english hosts.

Otherwise, Top Gear is a fantastic and very entertaining show. Although I must admit the older seasons were much better than what they are now... but not too bad considering 18 seasons worth!!
