What is the magic potion your wife drinks in order to write books so quickly, and where can I get it? I could use it for all the college application essays I have to write this semester.

Are you going to post them here for us to critique?

I'll help you! (Actually, really, if I feel like it, I'll help you refine your essays. I'm much better at it than you think. Don't use Apolyton postings as an example of my writing skill)

I appreciate the offer, Alby, but by the time I'm through with the school-mandated revision process I will already be sick to death of working on them.

Frankly, I write brilliant essays. I received excellent marks in my artsy courses (history and psychology mostly) by bullshitting my way through essays. I was always amused by how much people stress out about them.

The only difficulty was reining in my inherent trolling.

comma splice

I'm also pretty sure "use ironing" is proper, not "use an ironing".

How is that possible? Was there any ambiguity?

I don't see it. I quoted HC and responded directly to him.

I'm still going to think of you as GUY-neem-er. Sorry, I'm just used to it that way now. Similarly, while it's possible that Asher pronounces his username as AH-shur, the way my Jewish former coworker did, he'll always be "ash" with an er on the end.

Congratulations, anyway! Did she wade her way through an agent/publishing company's slush pile, or did she know somebody?
