Tiger sure was moving his neck mighty well in that press conference, he was making sure that everyone saw his 'disgust' that was written all over his face.

It was my understanding from what Ive heard that he was showing/or had shown Haney the door.

Dont recall where I heard it from but it WAS in the media that it was being bandied about.

Bottom line is that he was asked by the media on Thursday how he was feeling and he said, "Fine". Thats a fact. Now he's got a neck problem that he claims he's had since before The Masters.

There is nothing that Woods says now that anyone should not be highly skeptical of. BTW, 'hating him' is a bit much in terms of Tiger.

'Disdain' is about right. lol
His swing coach quit. Should we hate on him because he ditched Tiger?

As for the injury, it definitely isn't the first case of an athlete not alerting everyone to an ache or pain until it becomes a problem. Hell, we didn't know about Tiger's torn ACL until he decided to have surgery on it...and that was a problem he had for months before he opted for surgery. And it isn't limited to golfers...pro athletes in all sports have been known to not disclose injury to the media or even their coaches/team doctors to be able to continue playing.

But if you want to create stories to hate on him more, I know reason isn't going to stop you.

You can NOT be that naive, kobe.

You really think that Haney quit?! WHY would he quit at THIS particular moment in time?? When Tiger's swing is a shambles.. he cant hit a 5 wood to save his life.

The SAME thing happend years ago with Butch Harmon. He came out and said that he 'quit' (when the popular story was that he was canned and told to say he quit).

You want to 'believe' the crap coming outta the Woods camp, go right ahead, they've been so truthful about so many things lately, why wouldnt you?

I really don't care the least bit for Tiger and I think it all looks good on him.

But why are people ripping on him even if he did fire Haney? All coaches are hired to be fired. Sometimes, even if its not an x's & o's deal, you need to change things up. Tiger is a grade A asshole, but I don't have a problem if he let Haney go.

Kobes, you do know Rot from the Pack & Vikes board, right? Rot lives to hate on teams, fans, players, commentators, cities, mascots, peanut & popcorn vendors, etc., with or without logical reason.

I do realize, but sometimes, it still needs to be pointed out.

I really dont care, either. But its just the continued BS from Woods that is fueling my growing disdain for him.

I dont believe for a second that Haney just up and quits when Woods would need him the most. I also think that this 'injury' that Woods is saying he has is a convienent way, if he wants to, to sit out a good portion, if not all, of the rest of the season.

Which, IMO, he should do.

*shrugs*

Moi? Really?

LOL

I DO like to hate on all things E$PN... I find the way they ass kiss the athletes they cover as just nauseating. Most media, too.

I can live with the rest of the moniker, too, I guess. I probably have taken swipes at all those examples at one time or another. LOL

You miss the point. Again.

I dont care if Woods doesnt pick up another iron for the rest of his life. Wont effect me one way or the other.

Thats not going to stop me from formulating and posting opinions about him, though.

Thats why we're all here. Whether its out of 'caring' or 'venting' or 'bitching' or somewhere in between.
