Default Tiger withdraws from THE PLAYERS
with some type of neck problem.

No doubt suffering from whiplash after Elin's lawyers latest divorce settlement proposal.

The guy who really has to be feeling screwed is Woods' swing coach, Hank Haney, who was just sacked by Eldrick.

Apparently, he's had this problem prior to The Masters yet Woods still felt the need to fire him.

My disdain for Woods continues to grow.

Possibly.

But when you factor in the lost $$$ from the sponsors that have dropped him and, at the very least, a $200 million settlement (just a conservative guess), and now a golf game (injury related or not) that has gone south since all this started, Eldrick may be just a bit restless before he finally dozes off to sleep.

ive heard multiple reports on the settlement. she only gets like $20 million if divorced before 10 years and then i heard she gets half of what he earned from the time they were together. either way, he's fine. he'll have sponsors by the end of next year paying him serious coin.

There is no way she walks away with only $20 million if she pulls the plug before 10 years. Pre - nup or not.

Her lawyers will claim emotional distress to her and the children, etc, etc ad infinitum. This will be the mother of all divorce settlements one way or another.

Wait. Didn't that crazy bitch attack him with a golf club?

I call shenanigans.

Not to defend Eldrick, because I think his dry humorless bag of puss...,

but if a guy attacks a woman with a pitching wedge, he goes to prison, she gets the cars, the houses, the kids, and the guy gives up any claim to anything.

Not even that.

She gets what she wants, or she shreds his image. Down to bedrock.

You know she's got dirt, and after the way he humiliated her? Ye gods, she could have Tiger pay, or she could write a book and get paid. Which way is easier?

I'm sure she'll get a handsome settlement, but I think she would've had a hell of a lot more leverage if she had just filed for divorce right away. At this point who even knows if it is going to happen or not?

Did he actually fire him or are these like the rumors from a few years ago when everyone said he fired Haney and never actually did?

Tiger is in Philly today to promote the AT&T National at Aronomink in July. Says his participation is 'up in the air'.
All I really care about at this point is the golf. I want to see him play, and I want to see him play at his best. It would be a bummer if he's not here.

I can't find a single thing that says he fired him. In fact, he referred to Haney today in an interview and mentioned they were working on something with his swing.

So now you are just hating him for things that he hasn't done yet?

If I can't hate Coach K after 'helping' the US win a gold medal in basketball, I have to be allowed to hate people like Tiger for things that they might do in the future....

It was my understanding from what Ive heard that he was showing/or had shown Haney the door.

Dont recall where I heard it from but it WAS in the media that it was being bandied about.

Bottom line is that he was asked by the media on Thursday how he was feeling and he said, "Fine". Thats a fact. Now he's got a neck problem that he claims he's had since before The Masters.

There is nothing that Woods says now that anyone should not be highly skeptical of. BTW, 'hating him' is a bit much in terms of Tiger.

'Disdain' is about right. lol
