Appartently he made a lot of tahqeeq on the Gog Magog issue and has some interesting research that one part of the dam was open and they escaped and their descendants are Europe and the USA Who are the chief mufsidoon |

As-Salamu Alaikum,  There is a difference between "not memorizing" and "not knowing" Quran. He might have not memorized Quran in order, but he definitely knows the verses of Quran. Because, many scholars have related that when he starts reading Quran, he starts analyzing of his knowledge about the verse. Obviously without knowing the verse, how can he start thinking about the information of that verse ? |

Btw I don't quite understand the debate on this. Why is it so important to have other people to confirm if the maulana is a hafiz or not? Does that somehow will make any lectures he gave would be less in value and ilm? |

Honestly, who is better: someone who memorized the entire Qur'an but has little knowledge of it's verses or someone who didn't memorize it entirely but knows the meanings contained within it and puts them into practice? Are those who know equal to those who know not? [Qur'an 39:9] |
