I often hear Muslims tell me that Islam is the religion of peace. But what does that mean?? Does it mean nonviolence and compromise and cooperation with other religions or does it mean a peace one attains by submitting to the will of God?? And does submitting to the word of God sometimes involve violence rather than non violence that the word peace is normally associated with??
Islam is called a religion of "justice". So, is it justice if a land is ruled by the people's law rather than God's law or is that injustice?? And if it is injustice, is it not supposed to be fought via violent means if need be?? |
