Default Spinach Chips Recipe
Here is a really good recipe to turn your spinach into "chips", they almost taste like fries and potato chips mixed. I love love love them. I have only ever done this with Kale and the use of olive oil but it worked well with spinach and Pam. Its so easy and I did it with half my Spinach serving and I Will have the other half cup with lunch.

Ingredients-
Spinach
Salt
Pam

Directions-
1. Preheat oven at 350 degrees
2. Spray a cookie sheet with Pam
3. Place spinach on cookie sheets, the bigger the leaves the better, and sprinkle salt
4. bake for about 5-10 mins. I would check half way through as 10 was to long. You want them to look "crispy"
5. eat and enjoy.

Is this a P3 food?? I'm pretty sure I can't do the cooking spray in P2. One more thing for me to look forward to! I also love roasted cauliflower with cumin!

latte, I had the chips in P2 with no problem whatsoever. You can spray the pan with Pam then wipe it off - that's what I did - I also bought coconut oil in a spray form that used that as well - no gains either way - I didn't used much but yu need some sort of oil or the "chips" will stick

lattelover, you can make these without any oil... put down a piece of parchment paper, spread the spinach leaves, sprinkle with salt and/or spices and bake. Basil is good. Warning... eating too many can have a laxative effect, tho.
Fine for P2 when made this way.

Oooo! I am making these today! Having a BBQ with friends and can't have a lot of what I made for them to eat..... but this might make me way less resentful! LOL!

I'm confused. The spinach will have a laxative effect or the basil? I have eaten these before, just the plain ones and never had this problem.

By the way, have made many times in the past couple of weeks. I spray a cookie sheet with either Pam or Olive Oil cooking spray, then wipe it off. I prefer the spinach leaves without the stems, so I cut those off. These are delicious.... I prefer them when I make a hamburger wrapped in a romaine leaf with lettuce (mixing of veggies, I think, but this is the only time I mix anything and have never had stalls--but BEWARE, your mileage may vary). Thanks for sharing this!!!

I just went out today anbd bought two more boxes of organic spinach leaves! I am addicted to these things! I like them plain personally with just a tiny bit of salt.
