Unfortunately, tonight, I had my weakest moment ever and I ate 1.5 Big Macs. It so wasn't worth it. I immediately felt sick and threw up a bit but really, I think I have a Big Mac still in me (or more). It was the stupidest thing ever and i'm so scared to see the scale tomorrow...also wondering whether to take my last dose of drops. I don't even like big macs anymore, and haven't had them for maybe 2 years. In fact, I gave up fast food entirely. So why was I craving this so badly today? It's my 22nd day on the Celeste drops...I'm down about 10 lbs. I wanted to lose about 15 or more. Really feel like throwing in the towel at this point.
If you have cheated, please share what you ate, and how much you gained/stalled. I am at 130lbs now and at the rate of only .5 lb per day it's hard enough as it is. Is there hope after what I've eaten, or is it so bad I might as well quit now? Help, please! |

I don't know how bad it's going to be. But, I don't think you should "quit". If you decide you want to exit and begin P3, then that becomes a choice and not a quit.... see what I mean. Try and frame this in terms of success, not failure.
So, you slipped today. Now, make a plan to enter P3 and stabilize. What kinds of foods will you eat in P3? Bacon? Avocado? bunless cheeseburgers? greek yogurt? omelets? coffee with real cream? The possibilities are there for some yummy stuff. So go into P3 with a goal to succeed at stabilization. Later on down the road if you still want to take off another 5 or 10 lbs, you can check out the correction day method, or Leptin reset method, or Primal or 4 Hour Body or ..... you'll find the method that works best for you. |

I made potato salad for a picnic and ate some. I also made cake, but didn't sample it! I am so sorry I ate it, because I stalled for over a week! I gained 3 pounds. It took a week to lose that, and be right back where I was when I ate it. So totally NOT worth it! And I don't think a Maccas (Mcdonalds) burger is worth it either! Do you? I could have lost at least 5 pounds in the time I wasted with that cheat. Not worth it. No way. I tell myself that the food I want to eat is not going off the planet. When I am done with this diet and I am skinny, I can eat that stuff and not have to worry about it. But, today, I think I made a big mistake. I ate my chicken breast off one of those roasted chickens in the grocery store! I know they pump those things full of all kinds of stuff...stuff that I will probably have to pay for.... |

How many days were you planning on doing? 43? A mistake is a mistake, but its not worth quitting. You may stall, but what if you quit and your body wouldve only stalled for 2-3 days? I also think that when you are small, you have to expect a slow loss. You cant say you are "only" losing at a rate of .5 a day, because .5 a day for someone that weighs 130 pounds is freaking AWESOME. Quitting because your body is immune or because you've reached your goal is different than quitting because you ate crap. Honestly, I think if you quit on a bad note, its not going to be a good transition for you. (Im just thinking that if I quit with the taste of McDonalds in my mouth, I would probably want more McDonalds bc there is no more consequence)
I never cheated with food on R2. I had a Vente SF Macchiato, so lots of milk and lots of SF Syrup thats not protocol. I did this twice. Once I stalled for 4 days, and once I lost .4 anyway. Good Luck |

I kinda cheat with my hair products sometimes. I have natural (african american) hair and it is not easily appeased. Usually I wear gloves when I putting globs of hair lotion on, but the other day I was running late and just used my hands. I stalled but didn't gain...
I also cook with cooking spray... I can't seem to just put my food on that dry skillet. I would probably be losing faster if I could do with out.... |

It might be a good idea to retrace your thinking and feeling steps that led up to the "cheat". Were you stressed about something, overly hungry, angry, lonely, tired? Maybe there was something going on emotionally that you're not aware of in this moment. If there was, and you can figure out what it was, it will help you avoid it in the future. Don't give up!!! Hang in there, you did great posting about it and asking for support, that takes courage!

i'm on day 14 of phase 2 (round 1). i wanted to cheat soooo badly today as i opened up a bag of bbq potato chips for my son (chips are my biggest weakness!). i end up licking the salt i 'accidentally' got on my fingers. haha...i felt guilty doing it so i can't imagine how you must feel.
what's done is done. move on and learn from this mistake. good luck! |
