Default Hidden Carbs
What ingredients should I look for in processed foods, spices, etc. that would indicate there are hidden carbs I should count?

I like to spice up my food with chill powder and tabasco sauce both of which the labels say 0 carbs but now I'm wondering if they have hidden carbs like all spice which states 0 carbs but has sugar as an ingredient.

Van... try this website for carb counts on spices. www.calorie-count.com.

I just looked up cinnamon... for 1 tsp it's .7 net grams. You might find the chili powder you use there and I'm sure tobasco will be. In the tiny bit of seasoning you use in a whole recipe, the impact will be minimal. But check it out.
