Is there a military leader in history that had his troops disarm before they could approach him?

Who's more deserving of a bullet, innocent Afghani civilians or a treasonous government official?

Yes, its called ROME.

No Military was allowed into Rome. And when the General wanted to talk to the Roman Senate, he had to leave his sword behind, and come into the city ALONE. The ancient Roman Republic fully understood the dangers of standing armies.

That was only for approaching the senate. The thinking was that the tempation to overthrow the republic would be too great.

The same rules did not apply in the field. In the field, a general without armor and a sword was laughable, no? A general who was afraid to address armed troops would also be laughed at.

Being hoisted by one's own petard is funny in an ironic tragic way.

From the MSNBC article: ""You've got one of the most important people in the world in the room," Maj. Gen. Mark Gurganus told reporters at Camp Leatherneck..."

Important? IMPORTANT? Because he has troops he doesn't trust under arms in someone else's country? What the fuck is wrong with this picture? How does that make him "important?"

Panetta's disarming of the troups while in hostile territory, particularly during these heated circumstances, is fucking treasonous. He has put these soldiers' lives at stake. He has demoralized these soldiers. These men and women in uniform are good enough to fight and die for America; but, they cannot be trusted around the Secretary of Defense! Panetta is a treasonous scumbag. Anyone who'd for fight for this treasonous government in Washington is a fool. If the military ever decides to throw these treasonous bums out for their neverending crimes against the Constitution, I am with the military and the Constitution.

"In Haig's presence, Kissinger referred pointedly to military men as "dumb, stupid animals to be used" as pawns for foreign policy. Kissinger often took up a post outside the doorway to Haig's office and dressed him down in front of the secretaries for alleged acts of incompetence with which Haig was not even remotely involved."

Absolutely! Pure ego on his part. Par the course though. It will get worse before it gets better.

CIA DIRECTOR PANETTA

SECRETARY OF DEFENSE

CLINTON WHITE HOUSE CHIEF OF STAFF

NEOCON POINT MAN

Twin brother of Petraeus.

All these Jew NeoCons are interchangeable order takers which
is why they are easy to move around.

LYING CIA's Panetta: Iran has enough uranium for 2 bombs

important announcement by Obama very soon, 1st May 2011
http://gold-silver.us/forum/showthre...l=1#post407904

Petraeus replacing the old fraud Panetta
So this fraud is going to run the C.I.A.

Everything we post here on War, " war on terror ", " colored revolutions ",
it's all Panetta, one of the first things Panetta did was clean up for Bush,
then perpetuate PNAC under Obama. He is one of Clinton NeoCons.
He may even be Mega competing with Rahm Emanual for that title.
