MSNBC is far left, CNN is left of center, and FOXNews is right of center.
MSNBC is hardly far left at all, maybe left off centre, it's FOX's extreme right wing stance that makes everything look all hippy dippy.

I watch Fox news only because they are the only right leaning news station on TV. It's nice to see someone with similar opinions. Why would any conservative watch any other news station? Of course its not to say its the best source of news but for TV its more entering than me trying to watch MSNBC.
What you are basically saying here is that you are part of Fox's huge flock of sheep. That's the main reason why this garbage is on tv, it's because Fox panders to people, people like you basically.

Fox news is a joke. I get more reliable information from the Daily show.

Problem with cconservatives is they think "conservative" should be applied to mental powers, not just a preservation of the status quo.

So the examples I posted earlier doesn't count as lying or making stuff up? Doesn't really make sense that you think they also don't do the same thing.

They shouldn't be allowed to call it news. It's the republican equivalent of comedy central. Now that I think about it, comedy central is a far superior news organization.

Terrorist fist jab.

Radiation from Fukushima is good for our health.

Pepper spray is nothing but a food product.

Need I say more? It's hard to take them seriously at all. They have no journalistic integrity.

Interesting article I read a while back about Roger Ailes.
Mmm they are owned by the people that instigate these things.... Tbh I take most news on the TV with a pinch of salt and realise that most of it has an agenda to either make the goverment / law enforcement look good or to subtley drill whatever the powerfull people want us to think into your head..... Tbh if you are one of those people that believes everything you hear on the news and believes everything the government says then I have some other news for you... Santa claus and the tooth fairy dont exist either [shocked]

You forgot about Fox News vs. Mass Effect:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PKzF173GqTU

I remember every one went to that girl book on amazon and give her a bad review

Her new book during that time is now 1 star on amazon:
http://www.amazon.com/Cult-Perfectio...2240802&sr=8-1

Wasn't it that the book wasn't even out and people start giving it a reviews LOL. Amazon did try to remove it.. But people just keep on posting.

It's incorrect to say something like "They're all the same." I agree that the all news channels in America place profit before accuracy and content and that they are all the same in this sense, and bad for this reason as well, but they're not all the same in the extent to which they pander to their owners' interests.

CNN, for example, delivers low quality, vapid content that's substantially just advertising. It's bad news. CNN is right of Twitter.

Fox News, though, is unabashedly extreme right for both opinion and news and it's in basically a whole league of its own in terms of the extent to which it delivers biased content. It doesn't deliver bad news, it delivers purposely-crafted propaganda that's specifically designed to trigger emotional responses. It's heavily qualitative and based on emotional appeal. It is an echo chamber for "conservatives" that outright lies and deceives for political effect.

If you had a choice between Fox News and nothing, you'd likely be better off with nothing because at least you wouldn't foam at the mouth over imagined threats.

I think the best source of news is the internet as long as you know where to look..... The mainstream news channels - although I do watch them sometimes are definately ranging from "take with a pinch of salt" to "this is complete bollocks"... If you were to do some research into the people that actually fund and make decisions for these corporations you would probably agree lol.... I think the UK news is somewhat better then the American news channels but it is still pretty poor if you compare it to what it could be if it was totally unbiased and unfiltered.

I also agree that a lot of the time you are actually better off not watching the news then watching it on TV because they are always trying to subtley push some government agenda onto you or influence you in some way which you may or may not realise...

Unfortunately, that Mass Effect 'debate' is a reflection on the 'Bible Belt' middle America - all that fuss about as much as can be seen at any beach or swimming pool and NOTHING about the shooting, blowing up, etc of characters in the game.

Quick question:

How many Americans on here use the BBC website to find out what's going on in the world?

Because people who watch the other side can help to critically develop, defend, or change their opinion.
Depends on how deeply entrenched their beliefs are. See my signature, I believe it has relevant information to this thread.

  1. LordInfamous
  2. JoseyWales
  3. terrannova
End of story, really.

At which I lolled
Followed by;
Will.. I don't watch fox news news exclusively like you seem to think.. I watch them all and try to weed out the bullshit.
Your statement of crap is typical of the far left though and I would expect nothing less from their type of liberalism. They take things out of context and then put their own spin on it to make themselves appear to be correct.
Just like cnn you make **** up that's not based in fact to skewer the truth.
Which made me lol more Q.E.D. methinks.

Get over yourself Will, go back to your oh so pure New York Times or maybe Huffington Post.

I get news from all sources, including FOX News Channel.
