 Mixing your Own HCG versus Pre-mixed HCG Drops
Hello,
I am new the HCG diet and would like to know your opinion on whether it is better to buy a kit and mix your own HCG or whether to buy pre-mixed drops such as hcg platinum or mediral? What are the differences/benefits/disadvantages between the two options? Thanks. |

Thank you for your prompt reply. Thanks to the insight you provided in my other post I was able to determine that "mixing your own Hcg" involves buying "pharmacy grade" HCG which is illegal to purchase without a prescription. Doyle and the various other sellers on this forum are selling it "under the radar" on the basis that the FDA and the police are not really concerned with this type of "small time" illegal activity. However, this got me wondering as to how a number of companies online can sell "homeopathic hcg" online. So I went online and searched for "HCG". I found some popular brands that acutally state that "30 drops = 125 UI". This got me wondering as to how they can deliver 125 UI of "HCG" without a prescription, so I called them up. On the phone they indicated to me that they actually sell "SYNTHETIC HCG" not "real hcg". Only real hcg is illegal and requires a prescription but synthetic hcg is completely unregulated. Now my question to you is have you ever heard of synthetic hcg, where it can be obtained, and whether there are any instructions online as to how to go about syntesizing it. ANy help would be greatly appreciated. |

i don't know how homeopathic remedies are formulated, but none are governed by the fda- that's why you see hhcg being sold on ebay, and not pharm-grade. it's an entirely different principle, based on water memory and energetics. some people believe that it stimulates your own body to product hcg. i don't know if that's true, but i do know that's the rationale for some homeopathic remedies. i know mediral is a popular brand, but the folks who take hhcg could help you better with that. when they say that 30 drops = 125 iu's, i think they're just giving you some means of comparison- although the two methods are entirely different.
many people do great with hhcg, it's cheap, and you don't have to mess with mixing anything. although i do think we see a somewhat higher rate of people having trouble with hhcg than with hcg. there are a few people reconstituting pharm-grade hcg and sending it pre-mixed, but i wouldn't recommend that because you have no idea when it was actually mixed- and it starts to lose potency right away. but most anything you see online that is pre-mixed is hhcg. |

Meg, I am doing the sublingual drops but bought the premixed version and it cost me a fortune. knowing now that the potency will be an issue pretty quickly, can you point me to where I can get the right stuff that I can mix myself and keep on track? Thanks!!!!!

Question - my husband and I are on a brand of drops called Nigen Biotech, we are on day 8, we still feel hungry, we are loosing of course. But the reason we went this route is because I did not want injections, and he did not want to hold anything under his tongue for 15-30 minutes. Do all sublingual pharm grade hcg have to be held under tongue that long???

As to the mixed hcg, when I priced it mixing my own was *much* cheaper e.g. rx hcg for 20 days cost ~$30-35 w/ shipping (better with more), and the bits and pieces (mixing syringes etc) were cheap. In case any1's curious here's the recipe I used, though so long as you have the correct conc in each dose you seem to be able to vary the other contents a fair amount (the B12 solution is designed for SL useso provides a handy/tasty carrier for the rest). HCG Sublingual Mixture 5000 IU HCG 30 ml amber bottle 6 ml B12 12" syringe with needle 1 ml 95% everclear Paper towels 13 ml dist. water 3 oral syringes Using a syringe, reconstitute the HCG using 2 ml of distilled water and add to an amber medicine bottle. Add another 11 ml of distilled water, then 1 ml of 95% everclear and 6 ml of sublingual B12 solution. Shake, then refrigerate. Using an oral syringe take 0.5 ml twice daily, 12 hours apart. Place under the tongue, and don't eat or drink for 15 minutes before or after. Makes a 20 day supply. |

I have the non-premixed HCG and I plan to use the sublingual method. Last I hear was to just mix with sterile water - is the saline for the injections? The more I read the more confused I am getting. I bought 10,000 instead of the 5,000 and am afraid that it will lose potency and that trying the higher dose a day 250 vs. 166 -2x's a day may likely cause me hunger and that if I do the lower dose it will not last for 40 days w/o losing potency.
But my biggest questions is how long can I go without stopping? I can't see how there could be any difference to your body between the shots and taking the HCG sublingually, but I have read that you don't build up an immunity to the sublingual? |

mixing with sterile water is fine, or sodium chloride. that is "wound wash" and you can get it in walmart. just discharge it into a cup, and measure it out with your mixing needle. a vial of 10000 it's not going to last 40 days, either way. if you use a dose of 166 twice a day you have enough for 30 days. that's pushing it, but you'll probably be ok. if you're hungry you might have to increase your dose as it loses potency. if you use 250 twice a day you'd only have enough for 20 days, and that's not long enough.
immunity is not the only reason to stop. your body needs a break. Dr. S. limited a round to 40 dose days. if you want to do the shots, you could try mixing it up and then freezing them- take out a few at a time. i never like to recommend that because it says "do not freeze" right on the box, but some people do it and say they do ok. that way you'll have more than enough for 40 doses, and if you do a skip day each week that would mean you could do the protocol for 47 days. |

I actually have 3 bottles of HCG on the way. I was just concerned that I had bought too big of a bottle. I am going to try just the 166 twice a day and if I start to get hungry after 20 days, how much should I try increasing the dose by? Also, been reading this forum for hours! Too bad I didn't find it before I ordered things! I bought a kit for mixing - which had alcohol and all the things I don't plan on using now - and a syringe for taking the drops. Question, what do I need to do with the syringe that I use for the drops under my tongue between uses?- just wash out? With soap and water? Or do I need more syringes? I have 2 other syringes for the mixing. Where are the best directions on the actually mixing? (Not the amounts as much as the process) |

I just rinse my syringes with super hot water to flush them out and let them air dry between uses. I like to have extra syringes because I can put several measured doses in the fridge and just pull one out when it's time to take my drops instead of having to draw up a new dose everytime.
I think I am going to start another round after vacation next week and I'm going to try the higher daily dose and see what happens. |
